Who is eligible to join?
Membership is open to dentists, university professors, dental hygienists,
dental therapists, dental assistants, denturists, public health administrators, etc., whose primary endeavours
are, or include the area of dental public health research, teaching, program administration or
program delivery.

membership by an existing member apply here.
What are the benefits of membership?
Registration onto the CAPHD listserv, which is used as a
forum for discussion of dental public health issues.
A password for access to the ‘members only’ section of
the CAPHD website.
Greatly reduced registration fee for the annual
CAPHD Research/Scientific session at which papers and topics relevant to
Canadian dental public health are presented .
All privileges associated with the category of
membership.
Contacts who can be accessed through the Web
regardless of member location.
Access to decision making bodies such as the CDA
Board of Governors through the President, CAPHD.
The opportunity to influence/change the direction of the
CAPHD through participation at it’s annual Business meeting.
Categories of membership
Full Membership - A member who is actively employed in an area
involving dental public health, or who has an interest in the advancement or
promotion of dental public health.
Student - A student of a university or community college.
Retired - A member who is retired from a position involving dental public
health
Corporate - A corporation, health region, etc., with interest or
involvement in dental public health. A corporate membership entitles the
corporation to have one delegate attend the annual meeting, and one e-mail
address on the CAPHD/ACSDP listserv.
What is the process for joining?
There are two ways to join CAPHD/ACSDP or to renew your membership:

Go to the
print version of
the application form, print it off, fill it out and send it to the Secretary/Treasurer
along with your cheque for payment of dues;
or
- Fill out and submit the following form online. After submitting the
form, you will return to this page and click on 'PayPal' and pay your dues
securely online using your credit card. Please note - PayPal offers
credit card as well as "PayPal" account style payment. If you do not have a PayPal account,
skip past the first box and go to the one that says "Don't have a PayPal
Account?", to pay by credit card.
